Lost in Transition...

Life has been absolutely amazing. I picked up and went to Grad School, and as it is slowing winding down (COME ON JUNE!), my Masters degree is in sight, but I have been a very bad blogger. After talking with my friend Berry (you should check her out here), as well at kids at work who thought it was "so cool that Ms. Brandi is so into music, and ruminating on what life will be like in 2011, we both agree, that the music loving, artist appreciating, girlie girls that we are should let the world fall away and we are must be revived.

I bought tickets for Guster in December, and they have been sitting in internet world, until today, waiting to be printed and in my hand for some good times. In a few hours, I will be able to totally engulf myself in my favorite past time of drinking and listening to good tunes. It has been way overdue.

On an even more excited good note...Jukebox the Ghost is opening for Guster and I'm looking forward to hearing them in person as I have heard some of their stuff and I didn't cry. That is saying a lot given what is played on the radio these days. They are very Temper Trap'ish.

I doubt I will be updating this regularly (which won't be unusual considering I got lost in a black hole when school started), but it will probably be more of a "I love this" quick note, as I expect my life to become even more hectic after June when I continue my other passion after finishing my degree. Music will always be a part of me, and I will always keep looking for inspiration (and the day that Ke$ha will finally be taken off the damn radio, seriously, slit.my.wrists. )

There are loads of blogs out there, and magazines to wet your tantalizing musicbud appetites, so look, and love, because in the end, the music matters! If I find any blogs that stay up to date and current I will pass them your way (when I actually have time to look and pass them that is)!
